O Don't think I knew what I was doing... I just took the sawsall to it and said "hope this turns out like I have it pictured in my head" and so far, I got lucky, and its coming along well.. I won't get to finish it tell I put my motor back together.. I'm not lookin forward to gettin the hood to fit though..
Hell, I didn't even know how to take the fender off the radiator suport untell I started rippin into it... When I did the cab swap I just took the whole front clip off in one piece..
I'm not lookin forward to gettin the hood to fit though..
what if you cut it straight down the center and put a tack in the rear. Then slide it together in the front until its the right angle to line up. Trim the excess and weld it up.
well my trans aint doing to hot and i figure its better to have a rebuilt one ready to swap in once the old one dies, and isnt the 205 supposed to be a really good t case? i figure i could just throw that in there while im at it and get my drive shaft lengthened
Yeah my C6 has a second gear issue. Probably just need to adjust the band but it holds up. My old one slipped in 3rd when I got it, but it held up until I put a new one in with the new 460.
Well you'd be surprised how long bad transmissions can hold up. :P
