I have a 97 F250 I am looking to mount trow hooks to the frame but cant with the stock front bumper. Does anyone know who sells the stock bumper with the cutouts near the frame rails to allow for the tow hooks. Thanks in advance.
Your best bet would be to look on ebay or your local junkyard... I'm not sure which trucks came with it but the two wholes you are talking about are for the intake for the f250s and f350s i believe but alot of people just put tow hooks like your talking about in the place of the intake. You could also cut into your front bumper and make the hooks go where ever you would like them.
I don't think those holes in the eddie bauer and deisel bumpers are for anything but added grille opening. I put lights in mine. You could use them for a place to mount recovery hooks.
I wish I could find that link with the ones made specifically for 92-96 Ford trucks that hung down under the bumper.

Hm well i just learned something new! haha i got an F150 so i always kinda wondered what those little wholes were for i always was told for more air flow to the intake or engine? Heres one idea
I'm not big on prerunner bars, but that looks pretty good. I like how he used what looks like Super Duty recovery hooks. I wonder how he reinforced them or what he used for brackets. I hope he didn't just mount them to the bumper.
That link shows a similar idea to the link I found. They both would work, but I'm not really fond of either one.
Mine originally had bumper like yours. I always thought that the bumper with the openings looked the best. Here is what I did with mine. I made brackets to mound a pair of 550 Hella lights in it. Sorry to stray off topic.
I plan on cutting mine on my '95, I'm just not sure where to find clevises to use as closed loop hooks that will fit around the square frame horns on a '95.
On my 95 I made two plates about 10 inches long by 1.5 wide and mounted them to the frame using the holes for the lower radiator guard which is bolted to the frame. Then I drilled the bracket for the recovery hooks which lined up perfectly behind the plastic air dam inder the bumper. If you look behind the air dam, you can see a line molded into the plastic where it looks like the factory would place a hook. Mine came out beautiful with the hooks flush with the front of the air dam. Looks like Henry himself put em there...
