Ginger metallic '75 F250 build
I also replaced the starter and starter cable in my brown truck today. It’s been running well since the distributor work but it occasionally had issues starting. I think the starter was on its way out and was pulling a lot of amperage and started melting the cable. Should be solved now.
My lofty goal is to IDI swap the new crewcab. 7.3/6.9, ZF5, hydroboost brakes. I’m going to try and find some white doors and hood to match the rest.
I’ll be listing my old crewcab this weekend once I swap the front doors with another set. It will be sad to see it go but it is just a bit too much of a project for me.

Today I replaced the driveshaft in it. The slip joint was extremely worn and causing a bad vibration. I had it replaced at DrivelinesNW in Fife, WA to the tune of $900. That included new Spicer U-joints and balancing. I’m not sure if I got fleeced or the world is just that expensive these days.
Parked at the Hoh River
I also scooped up this ‘76 crewcab this past weekend. This will replace the aforementioned project that has made zero headway. It’s a running/driving truck so I can at least enjoy the thing while wrenching on it.
As bought
I took the day off work today to tackle some projects. One of those was adjusting the clutch on the new crew. I adjusted the “push rod” between the clutch fork and Z-bar so that it was a little longer. I also swapped my Warn winch bumper onto the truck.
