Thanks for all the answers on the brakes! That answers all my questions. From previous conversations, I believe the engine is a 47' and was rebuilt before it was auctioned off to the fire station. This plate is on the front of the engine.
Glad I could assist with the brake parts. Interesting that such a low mileage unit had the engine rebuild/replaced, and the later 59A would be essentially a drop in service replacement. However, I think I spy the 4 bolt fan setup which was last used in 1941.
