Well, today I have officially wrapped up the project for this year regarding the truck as a whole. Still have things I can work on in the garage during the winter.

Today I made some good progress on the bench seat.

I didn’t like the fact of spending hundreds on a good saddle seat cover so I took this rug my wife had that is a little heavy and has a somewhat rubbery backing to it and chopped it up. She wasn’t too keen on my stealing her rug. It was 8ft x12ft.

I like how it turned out and should hold up really well due to the thickness.

Also painted up the transmission floor cover and a trim piece for the interior of the window on the dash.

Made some progress over the past few days:

Installed the transmission floor cover and the steering column plate cover.

Also installed FRP panel materials as the base for my headliner. I will finish it off with a fabric material.

Installed the passenger door. Wanted to start getting them on and will finish the prep and paint later after attached. This way I can start installing the interior parts and pieces.

Installed the rear view mirror

Fun progress. The hardest part of the whole job for me was putting in new guts for the windows! Patience before you become a patient!
