I found what I believe is a 65 uni body heres some nunbers I got in the glove box F10025376xxx65 wheel base 122 ,I shot the guy a price of 375 ,I he said he will take that ,it has a 292 V8 ,small back window in pretty good condition ,I just can`t wait till it`s mine ,I have allready thought about the cool stuff I`ll be doing to it like getting it to run . I`am sporting major wood
I am not a hundred percent sure, but I think they only made the uni until '63. I am positive that the last year they made the 292 is '64. Someone can decode that vin and tell you for sure what year. Either way The unibody's kick a**. I have a 64 regular body and I wish I would have found a unibody to restore instead just because they are unique.
an here`s the exact info I got today ,I`ll get the rest later F100CR221265 ,also I could be wrong on the engine but for a pretty staight body /bed with tail gate and the price I`ll take it ,I just can`t wait ,I have huge plans
I agree with you Slick - the ol' brain kicked into neutral for a minute there - Oct production would be '61 for the 1962 model. Thanks for keeping me honest!
I don't know of any online decoders. I use the Cars and Parts Magazine: Ford Truck ID Numbers 1946-72 It has a few glitches, but seems to be fairly accurate for most applications.

I have a 62 unibody - so far it just sits waiting patiently while I drive my 48 F1 for everyday stuff.

She has a 63 unibody of her own (learned to drive in one), her father owns 2 unibodies and a 67...and her brother has a 64 & 66 longbed and a 64 stepside.
So, you could say I'm just the "beginner" in the family....
