They are still out there

Here are some Fords I saw recently. They belong to a brother of a friend of mine.

Yes.

Here are the photos showing more of it. I was taking photos of the Fords so the Diamond T was only present because it was close by.

I saw that too. Didn't they only make a couple hundred of those?

This is about 45 minuets south of Tallahassee. I think the owner gets off on telling people "no".

They have been re-arranged a few times so he might be parting with some of them, but they are certainly disintegrating.

We usually go back (to the "forgotten coast"/big bend of FL) every other year these days, missed taking pics last year.

I noticed that the stanchions on the Ford script bed are the same configuration as the Model t roadster pickup tail light. That would be fun to walk around that property!

Diamond T made roughly 7000 201s. They were available as pickup, panel, or stake. Guessing that, as usual, pickups were the more common model, I would think they were the majority of the 7000 made from 1938-1949

Yes, they look like they are composting.... When I was big into the hit and miss engines it was amazing how many old guys wouldn't sell one that was out in the blackberries behind the barn... "I'm gonna restore it". Of course his kids called the scrapper the minute he was gone.

The owner of the vehicles in my photos quite likely would be willing to sell. He has a lot more that I didn't show you and enough projects to last a long time without ever getting to the Ford pickups and trucks.
