Plug wires aren't new but in great shape. Just double checked the firing order. Matches the non ho. Which is what my motor is. Brand new dizzy and ignition cool. It sounds like a vaccum leak but I can't find any ahhhh. It's also hard to start
I'm gonna post a quick video just so I don't sound confusing. I also pulled codes
Got 34-which is egr valve position sensor or pressure. Vaccum line is currently unhooked but ran better when it was unplugged so I plugged it off for now. And then 81,82,84 which is the tab and tad solenoid but those are no longer equipped either.
i just re timed the motor, the mark on my harmonic balancer for 10 deg was actually marked at 12 degrees and the timing was set at 14. i retarded it 4 degrees and it seems to be running much better ill try to get it on the main road to see if i can cause a problem (still not perfect, but drivable)
Keep in mind too, that the 5.0s are susceptible to the balancer ring slipping, which can lead to erroneous timing readings...
And check up under the upper intake manifold and make sure you've capped off every vacuum port. There are several under there.
