So my curiosity got the best of me and I had to measure the chains on my truck. Your Pythagorean Theory is right on! If you learned that in grades school you were way ahead of my School system! Ha Ha Your progress is look'n good by the way.

midfifty has been the only supplier I have seen carry them. But they have a hefty price tag for just a few extra links IMO.

was a little bored this morning so I decided to throw some color on the tailgate letters.

whoops, a little poor masking job lol. Good enough for me for now and threw on the chrome skull and crossbones. We had a good day or 2 of heavy rain and a good portion has found its way to the passenger floor of the cab. Going to have to find out where the leak is coming from before installing the kick panels. Hmmmmmm

Not much to report. I bought a 96 bronco like an idiot lol. Things are moving along on the transplant process. I have been preliminarily approved by Cedars Sinai to come out for an evaluation. Hopefully I can get that scheduled in a few weeks. Any of our fine LA area members care for a house guest for a few days? lol jk.
I got my sun visor brackets back from powder coating and put new visors on them. I need to punch out the metal for the passenger side to install bc I did not have that option from the factory.
I bought my niece a 56 F100 toy and she insisted on sleeping with it lol

So, I was approved into the Cedars Sinai heart transplant program! About 5 weeks ago, my wife and I moved out to the west coast to be closer to the hospital while waiting for the call. The 56 stayed back in NY with my dad. He wanted to keep it because it reminds him of me. He got the clutch fixed, and it turns out the PO had done some job on that. Welded up parts, and the wrong clutch installed. He has the truck running pretty well now, but is having an issue with some lights not always turning off and draining the battery.
Hopefully he will retire out here soon, so we can get more done on the truck

It's great to hear that you are finally on the transplant list. You are in for some exciting, but also very scary, times ahead. I pray that you will be blessed with the very best outcome possible. Be sure to keep us informed on how things are going for you.

The fact that our friend is going to be given a new lease on life, is a good reminder for us to have our organ donor paperwork in place and up to date. God's will is sometimes accomplished in ways we can't begin to understand. Organ donors bring hope and healing to tragic situations.
