Just picked up y 17 platinum super duty and I can say without a doubt that FORD knocked it out of the park with this truck ....got rid a my 2012 raptor which I loved ....but this is a great truck ...leveled with new rims and 35 toys....rides perfect ....wrapped see of the chrome in carbon fiber ...retraxx bed liner ....just a perfect truck ...when I can figure out how to post pics I will

Oh I'm just teasing ya. I know the FX4 package does nothing for sand. I bought the package because of the skid plates and I would hate to have a rock tear a hole in my tcase. The descent control does work well when you are nosing down a greasy muddy hill when off the pavement.
When I get a 2018 I will order it again as well.
