THE POR15 LOOKS GOOD but is pricey - as they are lifting the body off the frame to replace the bushings it makes sense to treat the exposed areas that would not be accessible if this was not occurring.
$400 to lift the body up and replace the bushings. I have to supply the parts and materials.
$150 for the bushings.
around $150 for a gallon of the por15
however I am not sure how to get into the frame itself. any ideas?
PITT-GUARD® Rapid Coat Direct-To-Rust Epoxy is intended for interior/exterior use where barrier type protection is required for steel, aluminum, hot dipped galvanized steel and masonry surfaces. It's excellent wetting properties allow application and good performance over tightly adhering rust. Excellent performance is obtained over abrasive blasted surfaces.
this encapsulates the rust - a 2 gallon kit is LESS than the POR15 and is a MARINE grade product.
need help on finding the paced the covers the back 4 holes behind the rear wheel -
Do you need more help than the links Krazee Matt posted in your thread last night for the Stone Deflectors from Tasca Ford? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...sing-part.html post #8. Do you even read your own threads?
the inside of the passenger wheel the piece on the back is missing No idea what you are talking about here, maybe a littler more detail and a complete sentence......?
the front panel on the frame in front of the radiator is broken
I'll bet that Tasca might have the header panel also.
For the receiver hitch bolts that you showed in the one video there are 2 round headed bolts to help ensure that folks didn't remove the hitch, it was part of the Federal crash protection package on the these big Station Wagons. The typical way to deal with them it either use a pipe wrench on them while the fuel tank is removed or to drill them out with the tank in place. If you are planning to do any heavy towing with the EX now would be a good time to upgrade to the bigger hitch mounting bolts that the later EXs got that allows for higher trailer weights.
Many of the questions you have asked can be researched here via the "Search" and "Advanced Search" functions, almost everything you have asked has been discussed here before and solutions posted. Not trying to say that asking lots of questions is a bad thing, but do a little searching as you come across new issues with the EX, we have tons of info here. Don't rely totally on other members to find the common answers to every little detail.
Bahahahaha, you shall forever be known as Brandon to me now.
It's a long story, and more of an inside joke shared by a few, but suffice to say I had a buddy (named Brandon, obviously, LOL) who did the same thing when he posted on the Lightning boards back in the day.
It's all good. We're not search ****'s here. Just wanted to make sure you were aware some of the stuff is well documented and you might enjoy a stroll through the tech folder at the top of the forum found as a Read First sticky thread.
