Not dark out yet, so here's the best I can do for now. I did find some new high beams at the local Advance Auto today. Sylvania zXe. I'll try 'em out after dark, but just shining on the inside of the garage door they look much whiter than the bulbs that came with the units.

Not bad looking. They almost look like a set of stock lights with 2 sets of projectors. I wonder if it is the clear housings you got are making this look this way. I thinking about the smoke housings. Those should make the front look great.

Those lights look really good. Are the halos and the other LEDs always on like running lights, or only when the headlights are on?

Take a night shot, I want to see how those lights you got in the grille look at night!

I put the zxe bulbs in my recons. They were a blue color on the road. They were better than the bulbs they replaced but still didn't offer enough light for me.

That's quite a way to describe a wife lol

I can't really take credit. Something I read along the way on another forum a long time ago and it always struck me as funny.
Lucky for me she's got a sense of humor!
And I forgot to mention ..... those Sylvania bulbs that I bought at Advance Auto have a $15 mail in rebate right now. Took a little of the sting out of the $59.99 price tag. I didn't find any bulbs on the websites for Advance, Auto Zone or NAPA other than daytime running lamp or fog bulbs. I just happened to stop by the local Advance and found the Sylvania.
So far they're much better than whatever Pro Tuning Labs puts in them for high beams. I still have the Anzo bulbs that I ordered from Amazon on the way. They were much lower cost than the Sylvania. I might swap them out and compare when I return home from vacation in a couple of weeks.

The halos and LEDs are on with both parking lights and headlights. I wish I could find a way to have them as daytime running lights without having headlights on with them.
The grille lights look good in darkness. Just enough for me, I like understated. I wasn't interested in the big bars that that span the width of the grille. The little 3 light unit is sold at a local audio shop. A local guy has a metal dealer stamp the backing plates out for a few different truck brands. Then he powder coats them and installs the LEDs.
Packed up and heading to Florida tonight for a couple weeks vacation. But I'll be online down there with the iPad. I'll see if I can get a night shot posted up sometime.

I originally thought about smoke. But I guess I flashed back to the late 80's/early 90's and the smoked headlight cover days. They really cut down on light output and had to be removed every night.
That probably isn't an issue with today's technology. Maybe someone who has the smoked setup could give a post.

Don't know. it might be my post. I have not been able to rally look this week due to work hours and schedule. However, I think a set of smokes are in my future. I will probably wait for the next pay check or two before pulling the trigger.

I've been interested in these lights as well for a while and just saw this post about them. Poncho450, was wondering when you ordered these, did you order with or without the warning canceller they offer as an option. Was trying to figure out on their website what requires this and haven't been successful so far.

Yours look great, by the way!

Dave

When I picked up a set of those lights, I ran the halos & LED's to two separate upfitter switches. Something to think about if you have upfitters.

I had a full HID kit on my 2011 F150 and was happy with that, so the 2018 F150 Halogen lights left me very disappointed. They flat out suck. So I did a full kit of Low/High/Fog to replace them. Scattered beam but nicely throw on the road. Bright white somewhat yellowish in there which it helps on visibility in rain or wet conditions.
