in my Excursion after putting the '05 grille on. What was worse was I sold my old headlights before I had installed the new ones and didn't realize how bad they look so I've had to use them.
My wife walked outside after I installed them and asked why on earth I was driving a 'cholo-mobile' and as someone that wants factory this and factory that, I'd go with aftermarket lights like that.
On Tuesday I ordered a new set of factory '05 style lights. Today I ordered a 55W HID kit from Retro Solutions. I can't wait to have normal headlights again and I'm looking forward to having some nice bright headlights.
I made the MASSIVE mistake last week of installing Spyder halogen projectors in my Excursion after putting the '05 grille on. What was worse was I sold my old headlights before I had installed the new ones and didn't realize how bad they look so I've had to use them.

Found out what I thought was a small oil leak. It was coming from the fuel bowl. Oil was left over from pedistal o-ring leak and it was leaking down the back of the motor. Already order kit from riffraff and I got an email 1 hr later saying it was shipped, so probably see it on Monday.
I want a grill guard too, haven't found one for a reasonable price yet. Do you like the Cooper AT3's?
I haven't had them on very long but I have liked them so far. Less than 1000 miles and they do well in rain and snow. You certainly can't beat the price. Out the door with lifetime warrantee and roadside assistance/ balance rotate for about 950$.
I'll add to the mistakes pile... I ordered up some nice shinny new Rancho 9000's. they are supper nice looking, all glossy and new.... And identical..... All four of them. I guess I just got too excited when I ordered them, and neglected to order front AND rear. Oops.

Sounds like something I would have done. Now I'll have to go check my order to make sure I didn't do that too!
We have had some pretty heavy rains here lately, so most of the salt is washed away off the roads! Took the Ex out for some people moving chores and ran it through the shop for state inspections, old inspection expired back in November. Last gas fill was on Nov 26 and still sitting at 3/4 tank. Sooo happy my beater truck stayed reliable all winter long and the Ex stayed salt free again.
Today hitched it up to the new trailer to make some final hitch adjustments, hoping to get out on first camping trip of the year next weekend!
