Anyone who does their own maintenance may want to get in on this, it's by far the best oil deal I've seen yet. $1.00/gal discount on gas for every 5-quart jug of Pennzoil synthetic purchased with a maximum of 20 gallons.

Fuel Rewards Network - DIY Landing Page

Pennzoil Platinum costs $25 at my local Wal-Mart for a 5-quart jug, and for that I get a $20 discount on gas($1.00 x 20) next time I fill up my truck. After that the jug only costs $5.

I quit using Pennszoil long ago.
Has it gotten better?

Pennzoil has been producing some outstanding UOAs on BobIsTheOilGuy.com for quite awhile now. Seems to fare about as well as Mobil1 does for most applications.

New kicks. 305-70-16 Toyo Open Country ATii's. The most aggressive looking AT I've ever seen. This size has the Xtreme tread/shoulder pattern. Once I got a few miles on them to get the slick off of them they're great so far! Rolling out of the tire store parking lot was interesting, as I accelerated (kinda hard) at about 20MPH they lit up and puckered me up! I've never had a new tire so slick....the truck running as good as it is didn't help.

Opinions on goodrich T/A KO
2wd gasser so on-road usage only in the southwest with no snow and minimal rain.
Truck doesn't see a ton of miles per year. Only for vacations and hauling stuff around.

I run Rotella T6 w/ the Donaldson ELF7405 @ ~10K intervals. I do analysis every 5K, including when it gets changed. It gets pricey but it makes me feel better. Spend your money how you see fit!

F-111N w/ the nipple, omit the "N" for no nipple.

So I went through a small tunnel today, I slowed down so the other cars were far ahead, then I rolled down the windows and hit the throttle! The sound was amazing! When I hit the other end, I realized I should have videoed it for you all to hear. I almost turned around to to it again, this time with video, but I was running late. Next time I go that direction, I will make sure I run tape, the sound is almost too awesome to believe!

Tomorrow I am running to Vancouver, Wash., it is time for a new bumper install!
