That's the federal certification sticker. The warranty plate is the metal plate that's riveted to the driver's door, most people call it a VIN plate, Ford calls it a warranty plate because to be a legal VIN plate it has to be mounted to a permanent part of the vehicle, not something that can be changed easily like the door.

DSO 72 3353=(72) San Jose District Sales Office (3353) This was a special or possibly a fleet order.
I think it's a C7...Dana 60 limited slip 3:54 ratio
Looking closer at the picture, I think you're correct. The Dana 60 fits with the truck too.
In my chart "07" was used through '77 but that was a Ford 9", not something you would see in an F250.
Color - (blank) = non standard color
DSO 72 3353=(72) San Jose District Sales Office / (3353) This was a Domestic Special Order.
No COLOR code on Warranty Plate, truck painted a non standard color per the original purchasers request...making it a Domestic Special Order.
Customer needs paint formula, but there's no COLOR code on Warranty Plate.
Dealer contacts FoMoCo with 6 digit DSO, FoMoCo looks up the order number, passes the paint formula back to the dealer.

1979 A/T TRANS codes: G = C4 / K = C6 / 1961/78: The IDIOTS at FoMoCo used the G TRANS code for all A/T's.
One had to know which A/T was available with what engine.
Thanks for the info! So limited slip, i need additives?
And something else that 77&79F250 pointed out, i have 6 leafs on my front springs. They dont look aftermarket, same rust as everything else. Was that a factory option?
