Anyone interested in a custom 2 door Excursion? We have one completed, but not for sale. You can see pictures at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (ADMIN NOTE: sorry, no advertising allowed). If intersted in turning your 4 door excursion into a 2 door, please email us or give us a call.
First off...why? Most guys buy the X for it people carrying ability & towing ability.
Second, I was appalled by what you did to that once beautiful, PSD 4x4 Excursion. You turned into a dork mobile!
BUT even though I don't agree or understand your finished vehicle. The craftsmanship and hard work that it took to do that was amazing!!! NOW, if you make a 4x4 V10 2-door Excursion in the spirit of the Bronco....well....then you may just get some buyers. And I'd have to imagine quite a few of them at that.
So, for your next Excursion project; build the Bronco.
2-door
removable second row seat (use the X seat but widen it & put headrests on it)
40/20/40 front seat
same rear opening as the X
Dana 60 front
Dana 80 rear (or Sterling unit...)
V10 (lighter)
keep the 44 gallon tank
hang the spare out back or on top
6 speed
and sign me up!
In fact get a hold of the short frame that is used on the regular cab short bed F250's sold over seas and build off of that!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Mar-02 AT 08:27 AM (EST)]I went directly to the web site before I read Monsta's posting and I must agree with him, why? It never ceases to amaze me how many people have a ton of money and not clue what to do with it! But this is why opinions are like A$$ Holes, everybody has one.
Although, I must also say the craftsmanship and ingenuity is very impressive. This vehicle should be SEMA show winner at some level.
Should have gone the other way and made a 6-door Excursion, possibly a dually also. That would be impressive. I can't imagine buying something just to make it, well, less. I always want MORE!
Hmmm, now that gives me some ideas!!!!!
I really don't understand the point of takeing a truck thats used for pulling weight and droping the suspension and takeing the point out of a truck. if you want a low rider get a car.
I am affraid that the talented skills of these craftsman is overpowered by ugliness of this thing. I don't like slammed trucks and such, but I think some of them look good. This thing is butt ugly.
What were you thinking?!?!?! Talk about destroying a PERFECTLY good SUV! As far as I'm concerned, that has got to be the most disgusting *******ization of a vehicle that has occured since the Gremlin/Pacer incident of AMC in the 70's!!!!
I KNOW you are one of those people that have no common sense and take a truck and make it a speed bump-scraper, but to take a $40k truck and do THAT??? Whatever you had to smoke to get to that point... It MUSTA been good!
