How much did you pay for your IDI?
Model: F250
Trim: XLT
Driveline: 4x4 4 Speed Manual? Dunno the ratio of the diffy
Mileage when purchased and date: 336,000
price paid: $800
The PO showed me receipts that the engine had been fully rebuilt 70,000 miles ago. At that time it got a new clutch, u joints and a new/used rear end. It also had a hole in the water pump, a broken fan clutch, terrible wheels and tires but everything else worked. I replaced all that crap and did a full tune up with fuel hoses, injector o rings, fluids and filters. This truck also had a lot of rust. LOTS of it. With all this work done and new parts, I'd say it's worth an easy $1,400 - $1,600. In this market though, I'd be lucky to get the $800 I paid for it. So many cheap trucks on the market and so little buyers.
