How much did you pay for your IDI?

1992 f250 xlt 7.3 idi na 4x4 e4od
bought april 2010 in st. louis, mo
bought for $300, cause guy said it had a rod knock. Bought another idi out of a wrecked camper for $150, had 65,000 on it. pulled the old moter out, flywheel and torque converter hit the ground. had a busted flywheel. broke in a perfect circle around the crank. Well, put the new motor in cause it had less miles and an easier life, cranked right up. mounted the old engine on a dyno stand, it cranked right up, NO KNOCK. so i got a good truck and an extra motor for $450, gotta love that. have put about 28000 on it since i put it together, no problems except for chronic neutral safety switch issues. Getting ready to park it and do a frame off restore. Goal is a damn pretty 400hp idi truck to rub in the ps guys faces, lol

F250 extended cab with 8ft box
XLT Lariat
N/A 7.3, ZF-5, 4wd, 4.10 with limited slip rear
Somewhere around 240,000 km's
$2450 in April 2012
Bought this one as a project as the frame and cab/interior were in good shape. Box is toast, right rear shackle mount was busted and transmission is pretty rough. On the plus side it had new tires and batteries

F250 extended cab with 8 ft box
XLT Lariat
7.3, ZF-5, 4wd, 3.55 with limited slip rear
around 215,000 km's
$1750 in March 2013
Quite a bit of rust on this one, and one ugly *** home brew paint job. Originally planned to buy as a daily driver, ended up putting another $2000 plus time into to replace driveline (still working on it).
I'm in B.C. Canada. From what I've seen prices for these trucks is somewhat high compared to a lot of places. Trucks in better shape that still need some work tend to go for 3500-4000 on a regular basis.

Bought for $7500 australian with engine,c6 and transfer not in the truck
Guy had bought it into australia 10 years earlier with the running gear out of it. A mate and I flew to the other side of the country put the running gear in and got it started in 2 days, then test drove it 4700 km's across the country on permits. Was a big week!

1984 F-250 XLT, 4 speed manual. All stock bought it for 2000 with 34,000 miles and 3 of the tires were the original tires that it rolled off the lot with in 84. Im the second owner now its only got 52000 miles since it got it in October of 2011. It needed some body work but now it's a good looking truck.

F-250, std cab, long bed
XLT Lariat
6.9L, C6, 3.55 limited slip diff
Purchased May, 2013
$800
The drive train is in good condition, the last owner was a painter and slopped paint all over it, inside and out. Lots of work to do but it runs great.
Tried to send a pic, but couldn't figure out how. I'll have to get one of my grandkids to show me how

F250 SuperCab XLT
7.3 IDIT, 5M, 4x4, 4.10 LS
June 2013
$4700
Had a new clutch, glow plugs, and tires with 8k when we purchased, Banks 3" DP and exhaust (4" after muffler), EGT and boost gauges. A little exterior rust (rear arches, bottom of cab) nothing much for one of these at this age, really nice interior.
