20" non Widow Maker 5 hole wheels rims
For SaleWheels and Tires/Axles
Description:
I have 11 20" with the five bolt hole pattern used on our old Ford. I also have one wheel that has a crack that has been welded that could be used on an inner rear wheel, I'd leave it up to some to determine if this would work.
Of the 11 wheels I have there are snap ring type wheels, these are not the dreaded two piece Widow Makers. These wheels can still be serviced by heavy duty truck shops.
I removed these from a 1942 Ford and a 1948-52 Ford truck. Over the years someone must have replaced their WMs with wheels from International, Dodge or Studebaker or Fords before Ford switched to the WMs. They come in a variety of widths. See the chart I included with the pictures.
I want $200 a piece for these rims. Before you scoff at my price consider what I had to do to get these wheels that you do not have to. I found the trucks, I retreived the trucks, pulled the wheels off the trucks. Each wheel I had to remove the old tires which entailed prying the snap rings off, removing the dried on tires which were adhered to the wheels and took quite a bit of work. I also had to pay $15 a piece to properly dispose of the old tires. After removing the old tires each tire got an acid bath to remove rust and afterwards I used a wire wheel to remove remaining rust, dirt and paint. I sprayed on a couple of coats of implement primer to stave off rust forming again but I would suggest prepping the wheels and applying a better quality primer and paint.
The wheels are not in prestine, new condition. They are 80 years and have rust pitting but are still useable.
Check with your tire expert to assure you can use these wheels and they can mount new tires on them. I am not a tire or rim expert, I just know about old Ford trucks.
I am located in Jackson, WI and will ship at buyers' expense. Message me and I'll send you my phone number and we can discuss the rims further.

We've seen a lot of 0 for O, I for l, and various permutations of common vowels with various glyphs above or below the vowel as found in other languages using the same vowel... but copying the avatar too?
Makes me want to take them down even faster.
