This is a 1968 Ford 240 bare engine block. The block is standard bore and includes the main caps and main bolts. This is the same as a 300 block and they are interchangeable between a 240 & 300.
The block casting/engineering # is: "C6AE-6015-D" . And the date code is "8H6" . Which means the block was cast on August 6th 1968.
This is a good block core to start a Ford 240/300 engine build.
