Well let's look someplace else. Some yrs ago there was a company down in Purvis or Lumberton Mississippi that was casting SAE Opening flywheel housings to fit various engines so people could use the Clark transmissions. They sold Clarks and also were fabbing the mainshafts & transfer case adapters for the different transfer cases.
I talked to them a couple times & the owner even tried to Sell me the business once! The Clark O/D is a great trans because O/D is in the front where it belongs & not in the rear, like a Toyota.
I think the availability of O/D Clarks at the time was a problem for them. This was Pre E-Net days & I found them by an add in Four Wheeler Magazine.
If I had to hunt a Clark I would start by hunting these boys up. There is also a Craigslist ad for mid range truck parts I see from time to time, I'll see if I can find it. Meanwhile Google Up that bunch in south Mississippi & see what you come up with.
Are you still looking for Clark 5 speed O/D transmission?
I have a Clark 5 speed direct and a Clark 5 speed O/D transmission. Planned to install in a 63 Ford F-250 4x4. Recently sold the truck as an incomplete project. Looking to sell the leftover 5 speed transmissions. Message me if you are interested
