I'm giving away my 79 F150 parts truck. It has a built 460 with thumper cam, edelbrock intake, holley carb, champion radiator, headers, and a cool remote to switch between straight pipes and street legal. PO had the rear main seal and trans pan redone before I acquired it - I confirmed with the shop.
The cab floor is rusted out, bed floor is more rust than metal. I've taken the doors, seat, parts of the steering column/wheel, instrument cluster (though I can probably give that back), various parts both interior and under the hood (horn is all I remember, but there's more I'm sure.
You'll need to tow it, and there's no steering wheel (might could get by with vice grips?) so you'll probably want a flatbed or trailer. To get it running it just needs a battery and some starting fluid, it literally 'ran when parked' in my driveway about a year ago.
Why is it my parts truck and not a badass project? Because I also have a 76 4wd that I prefer, the rust problems were too severe for me to care, and because the PO lied about the rust in his eBay listing I got a lot of my original purchase price back when I had my attorney threaten him with fraud charges.
Why am I getting rid of it? The HOA contacted my landlord about having an inoperable vehicle, and my new house won't be ready til summer. It's gotta go!
