Description:

Hi All, I have been experiencing a lot of down time with my antique tool truck. Im sure once I work through all of the systems that will stop. Im close to doing that now with this latest situation...brake problems...

Basically, I need two new rear drums. Chuck Mantiglia of CHUCK's TRUCKS is considering having some made. The folks who do this will do a minimum of 3 sets (Six drums). I will be buying one set, Chuck will stock one set and one of you can purchase one set if you want a set...This hasnt been finalized yet as we are still waiting to see if a good pair can be junkyard sourced.

Im writing this to give anyone who is contemplating replacing their drums to have info so they dont pull the trigger some other less attractive way....If Chuck doesnt come up with some excellent use specimen drums...I will want to go new right now...

I will know more in a day or two....ill talk prices etc once I find out what is what....just giving a heads up to see who might want to partner in this type of thing... my drums are the 15"x4" with the 5 1/2" hub hole and are 7 1/2" from the inside of the hub hole where it makes contact with the hub to the edge of the drum where the backing plate is. Mine are for the budd type wheel using a 20" 5 lub on 8" spacing wheel...19.5 wheels fit over this type of drum but just barely...

Before you pull the trigger, call Steve at Bush power brake in National City. He sourced a pair of NOS drums for a 76 F250 after I had exhausted all my other resources.
