Okay back now- heres whats happening with the house of Rock

The other day my sons vehicle croaked and I did not have time to deal with it so I took it to a shop. They told me that the fuel pump died. I said really. (everytime I hear that I wonder) anyhow they said yes. Then they proceeded to tell me how they knew. Well to make a long story short that was not it. I then started studing it myself and found that the car had a fuel delivery module on it and a fuel rail pressure sensor that feeds the pcm and the pcm feeds the fuel driver module (sorta like a IDM or FICM) so I asked them to check that. I even gave them the voltages. They could not tell. So I searched and found one after hours and hours of searching, The part is no longer manufactured by Ford, Well I had it routed here over night and got ti myself and took it ny had to them and told them how to use a line crinp seporator to remove the old one.... We they did and installed the new one, turned the car over and it fired right up. GREAT DAY===NOT. Then they cut me a little slack on the fuel pump and I told my sone to go get his car. He did and instantly called me and said that there was gas running out the back of the car. So they did not sleeve the fill line into the tank right on futher investagation they lost the seal gromit, (EPDM sleeve that the fill line incerts to) I told them that you missing the seal. OMG fo they ordered one and installed it. Thing leaked like a sift and I asked how did you sleeve it. They told me that they put in the seal and then lifted the tank into place and strapped it. I said So you did not loosen the bolt tie downs on the fill line, and they sai d oh yeah we did. I said where are those bolts and they choked. They had no idea. I told them moving the tank reqiures that the fill line is loose so that once you sleeve it the tolerances on the seal and the line are not pulled to one side or the other creating open tollerances at the seal. They said Oh. So now I a, a little pizzed. U then left them with hand written reinstalation instructions. So I hope they follow that. Man its hard to find anyone to do a good jov these days.
NEW development. My wifes DAD was going to go in for some simple gall badder surgery and they took him off his meds 3 days before and they started the operation, With in a minute or two he had a stroke. So now were saying prayers and hoping for the best. In the mean time the car is still in that shop. Normally I would do that work myself but the new project I am on has me too busy. NOW I ASK --- whats happening in your world. Give my father in law a short prayer it would be appreaciated. Thanks for allowing me to dump my bucket.
