rear end sag

i have a 2000 f250 with a 10 inch lift dual bilstiens up front and single rancho shocks in the rears. my problem is the back end looks funky cause it is lower than the front what could cause this? and would a helper spring be best to fix?

Hmmm. Piecemeal lifts usually don't work out so well.

Look at the rear leaf springs. Is there a newer leaf mixed into the old leafs? Should be the second or third leaf down.

If yes, then you may need to add another one to the rear. If not then add an add-a-leaf.

Then again, just how big are your tires? Do you really need that big of lift?

Just curious.

Oh, just looked at you sig.

37s only need 5-6 inches lift to not rub for normal street driving. They rub offroad with less than 8" lift in the front. And some trimming....

Ditch the Banks transcommand and get the Sonnax valve and Tricumulator springs. Look it up on google. Been running these for many years.

Internal parts for the trans (Sonnax valve and Tricummulator springs) help a lot more than the TransCommand ever could.

I have a TransCommand still bolted to the underbody. The hard parts in the trans helped way more than the electronics.

How much does it need to come up to be level? Is there more than one block under the rear springs? Or just the one with the bumpstop on the side?

Feet.

Instead of blocks, I did a rear shackle reversal and now I have no blocks at all.

I had 5" blocks previously and now have no blocks.

Maybe 2 inches, the are just the blocks with the stops with such an arch I would say its springs. But I wouldn't think it would sag at all like that. I would think the helper or add a leaf would be best

Measure the block currently installed. If they are 2", then they are stock F250, in they are 4.5"-5" Then they are F350. if you have the shorter blocks then go get the taller blocks.

Get a pair of F350 blocks. (5")

Or Superlift has 5" blocks that have a taper built into them for pinion angle. I had them prior to no blocks.

when i lifted my truck ten years ago i installed the add a leaf and blocks. after ten years she is sagging in the rear. since you do not know how long the lift has been on or what has been done i would think you have a couple options, install new springs in the rear or add more blocks, have the springs re arched or install air bags to help level the truck out. good luck and let us know how things go.

I will measure thanks for the help and direction I think off hand that they are around 5 inches no bigger and they do have an angle to kick it up for the pinion angle the blocks do have a tab or spike on both sides that face the pumkin on the rear end

No (to the best of my knowledge) Lift Company makes a proper lift any more. All, for some ******* reason build them to have the rear lower then the front. When you order a lift and you ask the question how much does it raise the front and does it lift the rear the same amount you get silence on the phone then, why would you want that! For starters I want my truck to look like a normal truck and not squat in the rear like it had 5,000#s of steel. But some one convinced them squatting looks good.

On my 06 F350 I ordered a lift for a 250 to get the bigger rear block. But I had to have longer U-Bolts custom made.

Ya I was told the same thing by buddies that it has that sag like a dog in the woods, from the gate. Don't know why anyone would want to accomplish this look but to each his own I guess. I think adding a leaf would work out best. Any pros or cons compared to blocks you guys can think of, thanks

On the Fab-Tec (Spelling) [I would not recommend, it’s what I have] kits the F350 comes with a 3" add-a-leif and a 2" block, the F250 comes with a 3" add-a-leif with a 4" block.
