tuner and noise

so as i switch my dp tuner from stock to any tune i notice how much louder the injector chatter seems to get, what casuses this??

It's the added timing in the tune,nothing to worry about.

a little increase in timing causes this. If you are concerned, contact Jody and have him adjust your tunes,. I had my truck live tuned and i dont notice any difference, maybe it is because im so used to how my truck sounds.

Not all that's going on actually. Jody also utilizies ICP pressures to help with better fuel mileage, cooler EGT's and overall increase in performance. My truck sounds no different from stock to my 80 Econo tune.

The engine will go very quite with too far advanced timing. Timing is not advanced too far in Jody's tunes so yes nothing to worry about.

To the OP- one thing you might try is running a fuel additive. With ULSD the lubricants are less then with LSD, our trucks need to have it put back in the fuel. Then see if it helps quite the engine.

I had the same thing with mine. I couldn't repeat it to save my life but Jody explained it to me in dummy terms and I understood. Normal. No worries.
