Walther P380 pistol

Looked at one at a local gunshop, curious about its reputation. Anyone have one? reliability with hot loads? accuracy?.......Considering trading in my Walther PPKs .380 on it, so I would not want to make a mistake as it would be a concealed carry weapon as well.

My wife banned me from gunshops, so this is a covert acquisition!

Dave, I don't know a thing about the P380, but, depending on which PPK/s you have, I don't know if I would trade, or not.

Which 'era' PPK/s is yours??
German? Interarms? S&W?

I wouldn't trade a PPK/S away. Even if it were an American produced gun.

My friend, the only way I'd give that up is when they pry it from my cold, dead hands!

Ain't no way I'd get rid of that. Ain't no way.

You ought to know, Keith..........the "new pistol" itch is hard to get rid of!

The newest "polymer wonder" vs. a true old school classic, not an easy choice.

Yeah, backing away from this one faster than Rosie O'Donnel from a weight watchers meeting..........Turns out the PPKs books for almost $200 more used than the P380 does new!.......I guess the dealer thinks no one but him has access to the blue book of gun values.

I hate some gun dealers. I walked in to a gun show once, usually find phenomenal deals. Guy wanted 870.00 for a Glock 21SF. I asked why...he said that's his price. For kicks, asked if he gives LEO discounts..."sure, 800.00 even cash." For a Glock? No sir. Throw in some Crimson Trace grips? I'll consider it.

I walked into a 'funshop' that I've done business with for over 30 years, and was looking at a Glock G30.
$765.00!!!!!!
Every Glock in his inventory was $765.0!!
Granted, this guy's shop is near the Washington, DC 'line'.

I could have gotten the pistol for $650. Pass. (No way I'll pay that!)

G19 for less than $400. (Bass Pro Shop)
G30SF for $465.00 a year later. (Bass Pro Shop)
G23 for $398.20 (Local Glock stocking dealer and GSSF discount.)

The ultimate bottom line. . . if you want a Glock, join GSSF ($35.00) and get the discount.

GSSF= Glock Sport Shooting Foundation.

Dave,
Tell me what you want for the PPK/s and "Let's Make A Deal"!
