So I sold my 05 4x4 diesel, family couldn't deal with the noise.
So I found a 2000 v10 2wd with miles and wear but for nothing and runs great! So quiet! The excursion is just an amazing towing vehicle!
So I am going to replace all bearings rotors, pads, I have some rear springs form an f250. My rears are flat!!! Also going with new shocks new tires
Is there anything else worth replacing or doing worK to while the truck is striped in this condition?also what would be the best parts? The vehicle will be used for and extra car for the family and tow vehicle. Thanks for any help and suggestions
I'd change out all of the fluids while your at it (tranny, real axel, ps,). I'd also look at doing a full tuneup if you don't know when it was done last. Other than that just look things over real well when you crawling all over the Excursion.
I did replace with 4 bridgstone revo2 285/75/16 seem pretty nice and were price right.
I d wish I would have found some 20" factory f250 wheels and replaced with them. but couldnt find any. Last weekend while heading to parents house I had a right rear blow out that actually took off the finder flair and mangaled the body around the opening
I should open a new poll on which shocks to buy
Everyone please bear with me I just got out of the hospital for major back suregry and am heavily medicated!! most words will be spelled wrong and if something I write makes absolutely no sense at all please tell me!!Thank You
