To line bed or not to line, that is the question...
Hey ya'll, progressing relatively well with my 79 F-250. Given her a tuneup and having a friend who works on old dents come and teach me a few things to keep her running. SO right now just working on interior. Took out the bench seat, cut out and patched up rust holes, then Herculined the interior. Plan is to make her a tough bomb-proof truck. Thinking about using the Herculiner to line the bed ( I quite like how sticky the liner is) but I do kind of like the look of the bed being beat up.
Anyway, I digress... the point of lining the bed, for me, is to get me to clean, sand, and prep the bed, patch old rust spots/holes and, and then line it with the Herculiner so I can 1) protect the metal and 2) clean out the bed easy. A friend of mine suggested I just leave the bed with the beat up look....
My question is, what are the cons of Herculining the bed, and what are some of the pros...
