'79 F-350 2wd question
A buddy n I parted out a '79 F-350 and found something we hadn't seen before. The cab mounts seem to be 6" wider. Neither one of us had seen this before. Is it possible it was a cab n chassis truck ? Are all the 350's that way ? Any other quirks we haven't found yet ?

The cab mounts in the rear? I couldn't see the cab mounts being wider in the front.
Still have the VIN? Beyond that the frame should be dead straight from the front mounts back to the rear for cab 'n' chassis.

All 2wd F-350's use the narrow chassis cab style frames, even the ones with pickup beds.
