installing V springs in the front ONLY?
I will be installing new V springs in the front of my 01 Ex and I wanted to know since I am keeping the factory springs in the back what I should do to make sure the Ex doesn't sit front end high.
do I need to install a taller block in the back with the original springs? if so do which block do I go with, a 3.5" tapered block or a 3.5" flat block or no block at all?
to help answer the question all I tow is a very small landscape trailer with Polaris Ranger so nothing too heavy.
can I get away with keeping my stock rear springs?
thank you in advance for you time and help

Years ago, when I researched this mod, the blocks were referred to as 3.5" tapered blocks, so that's what I've always called them.
Left side 3.5" tapered block: Part #F81Z-5598-FA
Right side 3.5" tapered block Part #F81Z-5598-GA

It would be nice if one of these was around for the rear axle as well; maybe for the springs and the blocks.
(For stock Excursions the) Front axle weights used are 4080, & D code springs for the PSD and 3680, & C code springs for the V-10.

...and somewhere else I found this parts list with part numbers for a V & B code swap (I apologize to whoever wrote this list, I honestly can't remember where I found it):

If you prefer the F-codes, here is the info (they are more expensive):

That chart is in Excel format and i've sent it to many a person over the years. I'm sure Monsta got it from Bruce, just like I did all those years ago.
That chart is where all the height quotes you see posted comes from.
