Random thoughts. . . .

As I write this, it is a beautiful Saturday morning.
The sun is shining brightly, and "Spring" is officially only a couple of hours away.

It is a beautiful day to give some random thoughts.
In no particular order -

I am thankful for my parents and all that they have done for me, and taught me.

I am blessed to to be married to a wonderful woman, and to have four GREAT kids!

I have made some good friends in my life, and some of them are right here, at FTE. Thank you.

I want to give Thanks to our men and women of the Armed Forces.
Thank you for keeping this GREAT nation FREE!!!!

I am so glad that Winter is behind us. I'm tired of the cold, wet, nasty weather.
Ahhhhhhhhh. . . .the trees are awakening and the grass is turning green!

Well, that about 'does it' for my rambling.
What are YOUR random thoughts?????

It's like they always say about the weather here,if you don't like what we have now, stay around a day or two,we will have something you like.

I'm thankful as hell for my family and my job. I'm a very lucky man.

My truck runs like a dog with it's a$$ on fire and sounds even better at WOT on the interstate.

I spent a ton of money at Christmas time and I'm still recovering. All cash BTW.

The weather is fantastic and will be for a few days. I've been wearing shorts for about three weeks and I'm looking forward to a hot summer.

I love FTE. It's my secret little getaway and my opportunity to unwind in the afternoons with an ice cold diet pepsi.

My daughter's HS softball team is undefeated so far and my girl is playing like a pro.

Well let's see Keith. First of all, I'm glad to have all of you as friends. Many of you checked on me during my recent AWOL and I thank you for it! I'm thankful for a fantastic marriage to a wonderful gal who is as much my rock as I am hers. I'm truly thankful for three great kids that never fail to bring a smile to my face. I'm thankful for a great career and having sound employment with the same employer for 17 years now.

I'm also thankful for Olive Garden for a great meal tonight and I'm super thankful for the bag of limes I just bought and the Coronas in the fridge and the one on my coffee table as I type this.

My random thoughts are pretty dark today.............
Had to put my 15yr old male Black Lab down today,......... do not want to talk about it.

I am thankful for old home movies that help us see him and the other dogs in their primes,...... going back to 1996 now.

Dog gone it Dave ... you've had one heck of a rough time lately. And now you have to endure the loss a very special and loved member of the family. I know the pain you feel and I know that nothing I say is going to take the sting away. Thank God we have minds that can hold onto memories and hearts that can hold onto love. I wish you comfort in this sad time.

Good post Keith. What a nice way to start spring. I'm just wondering when I can start giving everyone rep's again.

I'm thankful for all that I have, and don't have, and for these rooms and the friends I've made within their walls.

My friend, Dave,

There are no words to express the sorrow I have from hearing about the loss of your Lab.
I know how you felt about him.
I can only echo what Michelle said, so well.
Cherish the memories. They'll last forever.

Michelle, I too wish that I could give you DOUBLE reps for your post.
Unfortunately, the 'rep police' have me 'locked up' at the moment.

My random thoughts: If you shoot a mime, do you have to use a silencer? I found that it takes about 42 muscles to frown, but only 4 to flip 'em off. If the economy is so bad, why does it take me an hour to get a table for two at Olive Garden? My foreman and superintendent swear up and down theres no work, but somehow the company i work for can afford to buy a whole new fleet of trucks...WTF??? Thank you, Lord, for my beautifull and loving wife (just married in January)... and for allowing me to see another beatifull day in southern california. And i cant get the song "When The Man Comes Around" -Johnny Cash out of my head!
