2003 Expedition Rear End
So, I have the noise in the front that people talk about and ready to give the rear differential a fluid change to see if that helps any. I have looked over the threads and my one question has yet to be answered. Where is the hole to fill it back up? I felt a fitting on the top on the pass side that is kinda like a tall grease zerk and its open all the way to the inside of the diff. Is that what I am looking for or something else.

I saw that, but its only about halway up the side. I was looking for something up on top. I need a 3/8 square for both, right?

That's the one because that's only as high as you fill the differential back up to. It's either 3/8" or 1/2" square, I forget which offhand.
