Just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself...I live in Colorado Springs...have a 74 F100 4x4 with a 400ci C6 in it...currently working on cutting out and replacing all the rusted panels (and there are plenty!), and building a 390 to put in.
Welcome aboard and enjoy! Don't forget you will need a new tranny to go with your 390 Don't hessitate to ask questions, everyone is always ready to help.
Welcome to the club....i might have a a friend willing to sell you parts for the 390, depending on how bad *** of a build you do on it, and what youre using it for.
I am just building it stock...this is the first motor that I actually build myself, so I don't wanna get too crazy with it..a mild cam, 4 barrel and headers, that's about it. The truck is just a beater...something to tinker with when I have time on my hands.
I've had it less than a year...Hopefully next week I will have my tranny built for it...does anyone know of a tranny dyno in the state, preferably in the Colorado Springs area??
Hey Sphynx770. Nice to meet ya! I live in Colorado Springs. I'm not sure of a tranny dyno. But I know a shop that has an engine dyno. If ya need any parts, I'm [unofficial] the parts guy down here!
