Okay 4180 holley leaks at accelerator diaphram tired of dealing with it. Changing to an edlebrock 600 cfm electric choke 85 ford bronco is what its going in. What extra item would I need? If any beside the accelerator kit. Where is the best or easest location for hot wire on choke. How much adjusting if any need to be done. I think everything is factory spec automatic trany.need to know what hoses to get rid of on emmissions crap so I can have less of a snake pit of hoses. On a stock truck you're better off rebuilding the carb that's on there now, but if you're bound and determined to change it...
I used a throttle cable bracket that's held down by the driver's rear carb nut. It's got an allen head adjustment screw to maintain tension. I also used a Lokar kickdown cable to make everything easier.
For the choke use the stator terminal on the alternator (best) or the hot wire to the coil (everyone seems to do this).
