tech articles section ??? really ???

every now and then I look through the tech articles section to see if there is anything new that is technically relevent to our trucks... lately (for the last year or so) all I see are reviews of new ford trucks, adds for insurance, and videos from aftermarket dealers hawking their stuff...

what happened to the old hands-on tech stuff ???

Well the way I see it people are moving away from hands on make it yourself to picking up a catalogue and ordering parts....... not the way Dad taught me though so I usually only use the catalogues for the pretty pics and maybe some swapping ideas..... I guess I belong to a dying breed so to say

What happened to the old Site? This is just one more commercial enterprise.

Penn Dick,

I miss it too.... wish we could go back... between the popups and the blatant ads... I fully expect to see something like ... '"We interrupt this post for this short video commercial" and you have to watch the commercial to see the added posts to a thread...

John, some of them are still there but are hard to find. I found your building a transmission crossmember article under Articles/Specs under a list for 53-79 F-Series. You almost have to know it is there to be able to find an appropriate article.

I usually just bookmark a good topic for that reason, granite I have like 2,000+ bookmarks (all about organization, lol), I just find if I don't, I'll never see it again...
