I propane torch will not be hot enough. You are going to need an oxygen acetylene torch set up with a cutting rose bud. You will also need a big adjustable wrench maybe a few and a few pipe wrenchs.
Just talked to my old man and he said the same thing....guess i'll go to the hobby shop on base and use their torch!!
