As I am new to this board, I was curious if/how to go about getting a sponsor for our thread. I see abunch of threads or catagories with sponsors. What do they do for the thread? What do we do for them aside from advertising? I guess I'm feeling ambicious today.
Flathead Red...some contributors to this forum pay a subscription to help with the cost of the forum...see on the bar above where it is listed as premium membership. I'm a member, but not sure of all of the benefits accrued with paying in. I just thought it would help this great forum succeed. phil.
Flathead ford, If you look at the blue menu bar above the posts, you'll see the item, Premium Membership. Click on it and it will explain the sponsonship question. phil
I think my point is being missed here. If you go to the beginning of the Older truck threads you will see that BLUE OVAL TRUCK PARTS logo on every thread except this one. That is because they make or sell parts for all those years trucks except this group of 47 and older. So how would this thread get a sponsor?
I don't think they Sponsor a thread, just the site.
My guess is that if a "keyword" is used that pertains to one of FTE's sponsors, then that sponsor will appear...ever notice how some words are underlined (in double I think) green? I believe those are the key words.
Flathead Red, for this question I would recommend you contact a user on here by the name of FTE Jason. I asked this question over in the moderator's forum, and this is who I was told you should contact. He can help you out with any questions about sponsership you might have.
