Help! Orange Prestone Antifreeze
For the past year, I have had the orange extended life Prestone in my radiator of my 2006 Expedition. The container says its compatable with Dex-cool, but I read the back and it said it also works with Ford WSS-M97B44-D.
I see on here that the green stuff is recommended. How concerned should I be with having used the orange. Is a standard drain and fill over to the green the best thing to do. Do I need to do an elaborate flushing?

2006 should be using yellow, not orange or green. in fact, just about all flm vehicles from 07/2002 should have yellow coolant in them. i would do complete drain and refill with the proper fluid, then maybe a flush shortly down the road to make sure it's cleaned out. the yellow coolant is rated for 100k miles.
