I do get lukewarm air when set at "floor only" and in "rear cabin".
Heater core is hot to the touch, Fluid was a little low. I'm going to try and flush the system, maybe change thremostat too. Any suggestion on the "best way" to flush would be appreciated.
Try switching your temp control **** with one of the other two. They can crack internally and cause problems like you are seeing i.e. not being able to go from cold to hot.

After I drained all the fluids. I used one of those "Flush Kits" that allows you put a "T" in the heater cores hose , you connect it to a garden hose and turn on the water slowly. U can usually pick up "kits" at any place that sells antifreeze. Pretty simple follow directions on packaging. GOOD LUCK
