I have a 01 supercrew f-250 speedometer quit working sometimes first thing it will work for about 20 miles then goes to 0 changed out abs speed sensor checked wiring changed out cluster twice still no luck. everything works cruise.rpms, just no speedometer. no codes on scanner

Same thing happening to me. 2000 F250SD 4x4, extended cab, 5 speed manual.
Starts working around 45mph or so. Occasionally acts up even at highway speed. Makes the cruise control stop working and appears to be affecting the odometer too.
Haven't had any luck finding reader to see if there are any fault codes.

I understand u might try the abs sensor in rear pumpkin thats where it picks up ur speed. everything works on my truck, except speed and odmeter cruise gages have 199000 on truck before this happened, changed out abs sensor on advice of others,didnt work for me every once in a while the speedometer will try to work lets say 25 miles in 200. I have no codes either and nobody seems to help guess i'll continue to drive on my gps at least I know my speed.
