things to do before my v10 tranny cooler install.

a little while ago i hit up sideshow about his old v10 cooler that he took out when he put the 6.0 cooler in.What are the things i should do before i out it in?light cleaning it out and what should i use thanks..

I cleaned my 6.0L cooler out with acetone & some compressed air, just because that's what I had. Denatured alcohol will work as well. I'm not sure what the inlet & outlet look like on the V10 cooler, so I don't know what you'll need. For the 6.0L cooler, I had to make right-angle 3/8ths to 1/2" adapters, and a little bit of PS hose. Here's what my adapters look like, and again, I don't know how the V10 cooler is connected.

im hoping it will still have the hard lines on it,like the stock cooler.then i just run high pressure hose for the rest..can i use brake cleaner?

I'm sure you probably could. I'm not aware of any issues that might come up. Just make sure it's nice & dry in there when you put it on. I set mine in the sun & let it cook for a while before putting it on.
