2003 Audiophile soud system a disappointment
I traded my 98 Eddie Bauer in on an 03 Eddie Bauer Nov 23rd.I really love the new truck except for a for minor things,but what I'm most disappointed in is the Audiophile sound system,the old truck had the Mach system and it was day and night better.The new one is muddy sounding,not clean at all,and has less volume than the Mach system. My sons' friends are music majors in college and said the Mach system was as good as my Fisher 500C tube stereo and the Pioneer CS-99 5 way,6 speaker system I have at home. This change wasn't one of Ford's better ideas. Next trip to the dealer I'm going to take a few cd's with and try them in another truck,hopefully there's a problem in mine they can fix,but I doubt it.
