1999 Expy factory radio code needed

Hello all,

I'm not sure if this is unique to all expy's or if there is like a "skeleton key" code that works. I'm installing my factory deck back into the truck and I don't have the code that came with the truck. Do I have to call a Ford dealership, or does anyone have a code that works. I have a 1999 Eddie Bauer Edition with Mach Audio.

Thanks!

Look up, underneath the dash, above the driver's kick panel. There should be a silver box/module looking thing mounted on the side wall, that has a sticker on it, with a 5-digit number (very easy to see and read) on it.

Are the radio and door codes the same?

They can't be as my door code contains number larger then 6, which is as high as the radio goes.

Thanks everyone but the only code I found was for the door, not the radio.

In my wife's old Honda, it was hand painted (nail polish?) on the underside of the ash tray. You might look under your ash tray. I wish I could be of more help.

Remove the radio and post the serial number here, It should begin with A,C,L or M.

I have a program to generate the codes, but it's somewhat limited. I can give it a shot and see if it'll work for you.

That's the part number, not the serial number. Look for a sticker that looks like this...

I don't have any sticker that looks like that. I should also mention that I have the Mach audio option in the truck. The sticker I have has the ford logo on the top left, Made in Mexico under that, the part number under that, and then the bottom half of the sticker is white on the left, red on the right and green underneath the red and white portions. There is no other stickers anywhere.

The only other thing on that sticker is this following number:

wvnm058435

Without a serial number you can not get a code.

The only other thought I have is perhaps if you remove the top or bottom panel of the metal casing, you might find the serial number inside somewhere.
