I took the battery box and some of the wiring from the 78 camper special and put it in the 76 crew cab. The wire going from the starting solenoid over to what looks like another starting soleniod (but not) (is it called a relay switch?)has an inline fuse link in the wire. From the relay switch (hot side) the wire going to the back of the truck, should it have a fuse and if so what size? By the way the wires are 10 guage. What size fuse should I use on the wire that is hooked to the ignition that goes to the relay switch?

 

frigerator yes it is a solenoid one side goes to your aux [d/s battery/hot] the other side goes to the main battery [pass/side hot] 10 to 12 gauge wire, the single wire goes to the ignition switch [keyed power on] mine has a 30 amp fuse to the ignition and a red fuseble link wire coming from the main battery looks like to be original wireing
