Had a weird one this morning. Got out of my truck at 5 am and hit the lock switch. I heard the horn go off as usual and continued in to work. Around 8 i went out because i had to get something and found all the doors unlocked. WTF???? I looked around thinking someone had tried to get into my truck and I had interrupted them. I then hit the lock button on the interior switch. NADA... I then tried the other one and it did not lock either. The unlock side works fine. Same thing with the FOB the panic and unlock portions work but the only thing the lock side does is hit the horn... I tried pulling #22 10 amp, #28 the PATS which was a 5 amp and #107 which is a 30 amp. All of these were fine. Any ideas?
No no clicking whatsoever. I also wont autolock going down the road. But would all of them go bad at the same time? I got a screw so its four doors that do not lock but will unlock fine.
Removed the 107 30 amp pink fuse. After reinstalling the fuse both the lock and unlock feature works. Why would reseating a fuse fix the problem???
We do this on airplanes its called a rerack and reset avionics equipment. I did not realize that my Ford was as finicky as the airplanes I fly. If thats the case its time to go Chevy...

Just Kidding
Sure that the fuse was properly seated in the first place? It may have been loosely placed from the factory and becoming more and more loose until it got away from the connection completely.

I'm retired telephone company (central office switching). We cleared up many problems, with what we called reseating circuit packs all the time. It's caused by contaminated contacts, smoke, water, whatever. I'm glad you fixed your problem and I won't forget this if it happens to me. Well I might forget the exact fuse, but I'll be reseating away till the trouble clears up, or not.
