hi been reading lot of articles on this site great site ... i have a couple of questions .i have a 03 7.3 PSD f250 and was wondering does any one know if the 4inch exhaust will fit my truck ... my second q is does anyone in the us ship banks compressor wheel or other perfomance gear to Australia thanks
Yes to the first.. As far as shipping it out.. I think you are going to have to look around.. If possible use your work address to recieve stuff.. IF nothing comes together for you. Hang out here for a bit, find someone you trust, and one of us could possibley set up as a middle man and send whatever to you.
Welcome to FTE. I'm not sure about the exhaust, but do know some vendors will ship stuff over there. If your patient, we do have a few other members from Australia. Wait a while for one of them to see this, and they can share which vendors they've had good luck with. Maybe if you posted a picture under your hood of the exhaust area, we could make some educated guesses.
Out of curiosity, did your truck come with dual shocks in the back? Seems like it was an 04 F250 that showed those to us from over there.
To find contacts in Australia go to top of thread and click on MEMBER'S LIST in blue bar. When that window opens put in Country, Model, From Year, To Year and then hit APPY.
my truck does have dual shocks on the rear it must be for the australian road conditions i think rough roads!!!!!!!!!!! yes i made a mistake mine is an 04 model...thanks for your reply
Since you don't have 25 posts yet, your private messaging has not been enabled. I used the search function Robin mentioned and sent a message to one of our Aussie members to see if we can get him to chime in on this thread. I know he's has some parts shipped over there.
Some of our roads can be pretty rough as well. I was just wondering why the dual shocks was never offered as an option here in the States. I'm guessing your exhaust down pipe exits on the drivers side of your truck? Without a picture of how close the steering linkage comes to the exhaust, it's hard to say if the 4" turbo back exhaust will fit on your trucks.
Edit: Never mind. Looking at his gallery pictures, Josh has a 4" turbo back exhaust on his 04 F250 in Australia, so yes the 4" exhaust will fit.

I was just thinking that I would love to see a picture of the engine compartment especially how the steering linkage/column is set up in the truck.
Those Aussie guys are great/lucky to have the last of the 7.3s. I have seen pics of the right hand steering column in the past here. Try a search for flywest or something like that, great guy. Too bad he is gone.
I think The Enforcer was the screen name, but a guy named Josh is from Down Under, and had an 04 7.3. I think I read that he had a 4" exhaust on his truck. I remember he had a E brake beside of the seat, kinda like a gasser car if I remember correctly .And the steering wheel was a left hand drive . Speaking of,I hadn't seen him around in a while.
gday all, yeah its been a while scott ive been flat out working and havint had the f250 out of the shed for about a month, been getting home and just crashin on the couch.chris (F350-6) sent a pm and thought i might be able to help out.
ok for your Q's
yes the 4" downpipe will fit but its damn tight, i had to put a couple of dings here and there to get it past everything.
banks does ship out here and to your door, at the time i brought my stuff they didnt have a secure credit card payment system, so i brought through a bloke on ebay who sells heaps of banks kits for all makes and models, but i think banks have now got themselves a secure payment site so should be ok there.
i brought the banks big hoss system through him with the optional twin exhaust and power elbow that bolts to the back of the turbo, as much as i would have liked to buy everything seperate from different manufactures the freight to do that was a killer.
personally i would maybe ask clay from riffraff performance he is a member on this site and see if he can put together a package for you, with exhaust, W/W,and anything else you can think of and then grab yourself a couple of petes fillters covers for a 6637 air fillter to get it breathing he is also a member on here and sells a great product and a really genuine nice bloke. doing all of this gets you ready for the most important part the tuner. i got mine through DP tuners opt for the F6 it's a little more expensive but if you ever want to add or change programs it's much easier, jody can email tunes to you and with a laptop computer you can download the new tune onto the chip. theres always the option of putting in a beffed up valve body in the trans as well to handle the extra power, and make your trans last a bit longer that comes from BTS you will find him on here as well and he ships over to australia, i have yet to get one of these but is in the works...
everyone here including myself are always happy to help out, you've found a geat site with a great bunch of people, if theres anything else you need to know just yell.
cheers mate
josh
