i called and they said its either a superlift or rough country, i was wondering how long it would really take to put on they say 6hrs? im pretty inclined when it comes to vehicles. i saw a website where a guy put on a superlift 4'' and the hardest part looked like the grinding of the rivets. i have a manual also.
Depends on the condition of the truck for starters. Rusty hardware, worn components and the like will extend the expected completion time. Keep in mind too, that estimate probably doesn't include extending brake lines or any other peripheral adjustments to alignment and the like.
Also depends on what all is included in the lift. Rear springs, blocks (shudders), or AAL's? New shocks? Two or four up front? All will contribute to the time involved.
Agreed that rivet removal will most likely be the most tedious SINGLE aspect of the project.
