'94 Ranger extended cab rear window - what fits?
Hi. I have a '94 extended cab with a solid rear window. I would like to replace it with a slider. I know the standard cabs of that era had a smaller rear window. What about newer Rangers? I noticed the newer standard cabs look to have a larger rear window. Anyone know if those would happen to fit my '94 extended cab? If so, what year did they start making the rear window larger on the standard cabs?

I had this experience with my '86. They brought out a slider for a standard cab and suggested I could just caulk up the gaps....
I ended up buying a Ford Slider, as there was no aftermarket for the bolt-in type window.
You can check the FTE parts guy here and see if you can get a factory window for a decent price.
It's quite a job to pull one as all the trim has to come off. Be sure it's a hot day and park the truck in the direct sun to make it more enjoyable.
Also, Numberdummy can check to see when the part number for standard cab became the same as Supercab.....
