Buying Schaeffers 9000

Guys - where's the best retail or online place to buy Schaeffers and what should I be paying?

Thanks - J

Check on the link from Schaeffer's to find a dealer close to you. I'm close (30 minutes) to their St Louis factory so I just drive over and pick some up.

Even better... don't buy it retail. Call the Schaeffer number and find a local rep. Most of the time, they will sell it to you at wholesales prices which is in the $19-$20/gallon range, IIRC.

You can also PM either White Buffalo, jtharvey, or jrcii, all of whom are extremely helpful Schaeffer reps and can help you find a rep close to you for your own convenience.

ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME?!?!?! I priced some on Monday from a dealer (not the rep) and they quoted me $26.80/gal. Luckily their order didn't get here yesterday so I haven't actually bought some! I'm going shopping for the rep!!!

Can you tell me where ?

I have done the dealer search and can not find one Michigan dealer.

Only been able to find 9000 at one Ohio dealer.

Mark call this number Toll Free: (800) 325-9962 and tell them you need the number for the closest SALESREP to you. You can order it from the rep and they will ship it to your door.

Call the number above and find your local rep and order from him. Or contact one of the guys that Pete posted above. I'm pretty sure I read one of Jeremy's posts that said you don't have to order from a local rep. I personally ordered from Jamie (jrciii56) and he was great to deal with and very helpful.

I ordered some 9000 a few weeks ago and it was just under $110, which is like $18.33 a gallon.

Anybody on the FTE board a rep in the Denver area?

I'll probably be going with either this or Rotella in 5w40.

That is the same Rep that I have always used for almost a year now. I was actually talking to Jamie today about getting some 5w30 for my Ranger and my wifes Vue.

Well, guys... Thanks to this thread, I am now and informed buyer of Schaeffer's!!!!!

Called the number above and got the name of the rep for my area. He called me back this morning and got my order placed. The price I was going to buy it for at the dealer was $26.80/gal. The price I got it from the rep for... $18.68/gal!!!! So I'm getting a case of 6 gallons for the price I was originally only going to get 4. He's going to call me when he's up here delivering next week and drop it off to me.

THANK YOU FTE!!!
